Terms of Service

The service

HSK Prep provides online practice questions and mock exams for the HSK Chinese proficiency test. All questions are original content; we are not affiliated with the official HSK examination authority.

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to subscribe. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are sold as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time 3-month sprint package that expires 90 days after purchase and does not renew automatically.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our Merchant of Record: Creem is the seller of record for your purchase, handles taxes (including VAT/GST), and appears on your card statement. Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled (except the sprint package). You can cancel anytime via the billing portal linked from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Refund policy

Full refund, no questions asked, within 7 days of purchase if you have answered fewer than 30 questions and have not completed a full mock exam.

Beyond these thresholds, refund requests are reviewed case by case and we generally approve them — our priority is avoiding disputes, not keeping unhappy customers' money. Request a refund via the billing portal or by replying to your receipt email.

A refund ends your access immediately. Chargebacks are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record; we provide delivery evidence (sign-in and answer records).

Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, bulk-download or redistribute our question bank or explanations, share your account, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Free content is licensed for personal study use only; no commercial reuse.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee any exam result; practice scores are estimates, not official HSK results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
